Master Naqib Ullah (1934-2013)

Student life: Naqib Ullah pursued his early education at two prestigious institutions in Kohat: Sanger School and G.H.S No.1 High School. During his time at these esteemed schools, he had the privilege of learning from distinguished educators, including Sahib Zada Abdul Qadir Khan, Mustafa Khan, and Mian Shoukat Mehmood. Start employment: Naqib Ullah's remarkable journey began with his selection in the Air Scouts during the British era, a prestigious program that identified and nurtured young talent. He was part of the tenth batch sent to Dirge Road, Karachi, for glider training under the expert supervision of Pilot Officer Mr. Afzal. This intensive training, conducted and sponsored by the Royal Air Force at Maleer Cantonment, Karachi, Pakistan, laid the foundation for Naqib Ullah's future success. Alongside fellow scouts Sheikh Muzaffar Iqbal, Jafar, Sharon, and Gul Mast, Naqib Ullah honed his skills, demonstrating exceptional aptitude and dedication. This early exposure to aviation and leadership would shape his future endeavors.After Pakistan gained independence, Naqib Ullah joined the Pakistan Air Force (PAF), leveraging his skills to serve the nation. He rapidly rose through the ranks, earning the esteemed position of commander of his platoon at Kohat Air Base. Fondly known as "Kapal Ullah," he earned respect and admiration from peers and superiors alike. However, Naqib Ullah chose not to continue his illustrious military career, instead opting to transition into the education sector. He joined the N.W.F.P (North-West Frontier Province) education department, bringing his leadership skills and experience to shape young minds. Naqib Ullah's remarkable journey serves as an inspiration, showcasing his adaptability, leadership prowess, and commitment to service. His legacy extends beyond his military accomplishments, as he continues to influence future generations through education.

Career: During his education, Naqib Ullah served as a dedicated Scout Master. He led the Tribal Scouts' tour of West Pakistan, where they met President Field Marshal Muhammad Ayub Khan at the Rawalpindi Presidency. The scouts also visited Lahore and met Governor Amir Muhammad Khan of Kala Bagh. Naqib Ullah's exceptional service earned him the rank of Subaidar. Beyond scouting, Naqib Ullah was a multifaceted individual - a skilled football player, fire officer, and educator. He completed various fire prevention courses, demonstrating his commitment to safety. After retiring from N.W.F.P, Naqib Ullah spent over 15 years at Froebels International School Islamabad, also teaching at Marjan Public School, Hamdard Public School, and Science College and School Islamabad. Many of his students went on to achieve great heights, serving the nation with distinction.

Educator: Naqib Ullah was a pioneering educator and a founding member of the Kohat Comprehensive High School, established in the historic building of old Islamia High School, alongside Muhammad Arif Bangash. Throughout his illustrious career, he served in various esteemed institutions across the region, including: Bund Khula, G.H.S No.1, Comprehensive High School, Ziarat Sheikh Allah Dad, Ladha (Waziristan), Landi Kotal (Kurram Agency), Shabqadar (Khyber Agency), Subhan Khuwar (Khyber Agency), Raisalpur, Akhurwal, Dara Adam Khail, Akhurwal (Kohat pass), and G.H.S No. 4 Kohat. Naqib Ullah's extensive experience and dedication to education left a lasting impact on countless students and communities. His legacy serves as a testament to his tireless efforts in shaping minds and fostering growth in the region.
